Mike Blalock

I was born at Fort Bragg while my dad was serving with the 5th special forecs group in VIet Nam. We moved back to Atlanta when I was just a few months old. I grew up all around metro Atlanta. I joined the Army at 18 and served at Fort Ord California. Home of the 7th infantry Dviision(light) I was a 16 Sierra (Stinger Missile Gunner). I got out in late 1990 and was recalled for Desert Storm. Once I got out I began a career in automotive repair in a dealership setting. I worked for 23 years in the automotive industry primarily for Honda. I started teaching in 2020 and my wife started teaching in 2022. We both teach Forensic Science at Rival High Schools in Manatee County Florida(Gulf Coast).
