Oleksii Ukhan — Co-founder and CEO of ResKit — is the driving force behind the company’s transformation from a small Kyiv workshop into an internationally recognized maker of high-quality 3D-printed scale modeling accessories. Since ResKit’s founding in 2015, Oleksii has overseen product development, growth of the team, and a global distribution network that delivers cockpit sets, weaponry, figures and complete detail sets to modelers around the world.
Under his leadership ResKit expanded from its first resin wheel projects into thousands of highly detailed items across multiple scales, while keeping a strong emphasis on historical accuracy, production quality and modern design workflows. Oleksii is known for combining classic modeling standards with new technologies to give hobbyists museum-level detail that’s still buildable at home.
As CEO he has guided the company through exceptionally difficult times: since 2022 ResKit has continued operating during the full-scale war in Ukraine, maintaining production under blackout and air-raid conditions and supporting staff — some of whom joined the Armed Forces — while keeping commitments to customers worldwide. Oleksii often highlights the team’s resilience and the importance of community support for Ukraine.
Oleksii remains actively engaged with the modeling community, welcomes feedback from customers, and advocates for further innovation and collaborative projects that raise the bar for aftermarket parts in the hobby.
